Fashion: Umbro sold to Iconix for $225 Million

Earlier this year Nike announced that they would be divesting of brands Umbro and Cole Haan.  Umbro has now been sold to Iconix Brand Group Inc. the company best known by their brands; Rockawear, Ecko, Starter and Zoo York etc.... 
 
Nike will now focus on their brands of NIKE, Jordan, Converse and Hurley brands.

2012 Angel Ball: Denise Rich's Gabrielle's Angel Foundation

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian

Just after celebrating Kim Kardashian's 32nd birthday in Italy Kanye and Kim were spotted tonight at Cipriani Wall Street for Denise Rich's annual Gabrielle's Angel Foundation Fundraiser.  The foundation funds medical research for prevention and treatment for Lymphoma, Leukemia and other related cancers. 

If Kanye picked out this outfit for Kim I have to say that the term "Devil in a blue dress" is so fitting as she's temptingly hot in this outfit.  Colbolt blue is one of my favorite colours, it's a hue that works so well with my complexion.  As well, Kim's shoes are shoe porn.

Movie Trailer: James Bond in Skyfall

"Double Oh Seven"

My mother and I have a tradition of movie date everytime Ian Fleming's James Bond 007 movie came out. Our love affair started with "Goldeneye" back in 1995.  I always enjoyed Pierce Bronsan as James Bond but maybe I was just byass as I've loved him since Remington Steele days. Daniel Craig was definitely a great choice as the new James Bond but I still think they should have kept with the "brunette" hair colour. Here's a 2 minute trailer of the newest James Bond 007: Skyfall and if you were never a fan or are just new to this series I think it will make you a believer of Ian Flemmings Secret Service Agent.

Foodie: Dutch Peach Cobbler

We're a short way away from the Canadian National Holiday, Thanksgiving. With that, the following questions tend to follow; Who will be hosting this year? who will be coming? and what are you bringing? My family usually serves in a potluck format as I have a large extended family. However, this year I'll be having dinner at my friends house and she suggested that I bring "something of the likes of peach cobbler". Although, I love a challenge....my other friends parents are coming to dinner as well.  Did I mention that they are Southerners? So, as to not wanting to insult them with this classic southern desert I will be trial running my peach cobbler before I have to serve it come Sunday.  Who wants to get the "Hmmm, I've had too much to eat I'll wait till later..." when you know in your heart later will never come....
