Lest we Forget: September 11, 2001
Lest we Forget
Today, I've posted primarily about New York City but I've saved the best for last. I'd like to take this time to remember the significance of September 11 also known as 9/11. Eleven years ago the Twin Towers came down after hijacked planes came crashing into each tower. Nearly, 3,000 lives were lost that day and some continue to this day from the healthy issues that arise as being the first responders; police officers, fire fighters, health workers, volunteers and clean-up crews. Alongside, the people who lost their lives on American Airlines flight 77 into the Pentagon and United Airlines flight 93 into a nearby field.
