The Perfect LBD Season

 

 

It's that time of season when you receive invites for Holiday Soiree's. It becomes a time of utter chaos trying to look for the perfect holiday dress but as we all know a woman should ALWAYS have a LBD.  LBD more commonly known as "Little Black Dress" or my twist from time to time as "Long Black Dress" is a woman's best fashion staple.

 

So take a look at what I have chosen as a few of my favourites I've seen this holiday season and I hope this will help to give you a few ideas and make your holiday "LBD" dress selections easier.

Do you have $55K for this pill covered backpack?

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen together with Damien Hirst and Just One Eye designed this pilled applique covered backpack for their The Row 2012 Collection.  The $55K backpack may seem like it's priced steeply but taking into consideration that their last years 2011 crocodile backpack sold out within a few days for $35K may prove to be a new trend for these twins.  In the video below you can see the other versions that will be available on December 12, 2012 at Just One Eye

Fashion: Umbro sold to Iconix for $225 Million

Earlier this year Nike announced that they would be divesting of brands Umbro and Cole Haan.  Umbro has now been sold to Iconix Brand Group Inc. the company best known by their brands; Rockawear, Ecko, Starter and Zoo York etc.... 
 
Nike will now focus on their brands of NIKE, Jordan, Converse and Hurley brands.

.... say anything, do anything, be anything - no holds barred.  I start this friday with some pieces I would put together on  a day I was just feeling over-the-top. I built this outfit around the wedges and since Alexander McQueen is known for his eccentric fashions I thought a blazer from his Mc Q line would be a perfect pairing.  It's a bit dark but it would definitely represent. I hope I've achieved this.  I would wear this outfit for an evening of drinks with my friends + then zip off to a club to dance the night away.
